ORANGE SCONES
3 1/2 cups SR flour, 1 1/4 cups water, 1 Tab powdered milk, 3 Tab real orange juice,
1 egg, 1 dessp butter, 3 Tab sugar, salt.
- Mix orange juice with sugar in a teacup and set aside.
- Supermix water, milk, butter, egg and salt at low speed for 1 minute.
- Place SR in large basin. Knife liquid mixture into flour to make a fairly soft dough.
- Press onto well-floured board to half inch thickness and cut to shape.
- Place in swiss roll tin and spoon orange-sugar mixture on top, allowing it to run down sides.
- Bake hot 450 degrees for 10 mins until tops are bubbly.
