CHOCOLATE CRUNCH FINGERS

1 c SR
3 c weeties or other unsweetened breakfast cereal
1 c sugar
125g butter
1 Tab cocoa
1 egg
pinch salt
vanilla
choc icing prepared

Mix drys in basin. Add melted butter & beaten egg. Press into swiss roll tin.
Bake mod oven 30 mins. Ice while hot, with choc icing.
Cut into fingers when cold.

CHERRY NUT SQUARES

125g (4 oz) butter
2 eggs
60g each of chopped walnuts & ch. cherries
1/2 c milk
185g sugar
250g SR
pinch salt
vanilla

Cream b,s & v. Add eggs one at a time. Fold in cherries & nuts, then flour alternately with milk.
Fold into greased slab tin, bake in mod oven about 30 mins.
When cool, top with warm icing, decorate with whole cherries and nuts. Cut into squares.
