MW TREACLE LOAF
175g oats
60g plain flour
rind of 1 lemon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp bicarb
60g each of black treacle & golden syrup & butter
2 Tab milk
- Place treacle, syrup and butter in a jug and mw 2 mins.
- Mix tog. oats, flour, rind & ginger. Add syrup mixt.to drys and mix well.
- Mix milk & bicarb, add to mixt and beat well.
- Prepare a suitable container with clear wrap or parchment.
- Put mixt. in and press down well, mw 2 mins then turn and repeat.
- MW for further 1 min. Turn out and leave to cool.
