EASY HOT SAUCE FOR ICECREAM

1.Toast hazelnuts if not roasted.

2.Place 1 cup of maple syrup in a pan, add a splash of vanilla essence and a good handful of roughly chopped roasted hazelnuts. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

3.Serve a spoonful over caramel icecream.

 

SIMPLE COOKED FRUIT DESSERT

  1. Place thickly sliced red apples in a large pan with unsalted butter: cook until golden.
    Top with  a carton of sour cream & brown sugar and cook for another minute. Serve warm.

2. Try slices of fresh pineapple in place of the apple and add a teaspoon or two of cinnamon.
