250g tomatoes, skinned
small onion, grated
60g grated cheese
s/p, cayenne pepper and mustard
2 Tab breadcrumbs
15g butter
- In a greased pie dish, place layers of sliced tomatoes, onion and cheese, seasoning each layer well.
- Sprinkle a thin layer of breadcrumbs on top and dot with butter.
- MW 2 mins., turn, repeat x3 (total 6 mins). Serve.

slices of thin bread and butter
90g grated cheese
s/p and mustard
1 egg
1c milk
- Grease a 1/2 litre pie dish.
- Arrange in alternate layers, bread and butter, cheese and seasoning.
- Beat the egg, pour in the milk and beat well.
- Pour over the bread and butter. Leave to stand for 30 mins.
- MW 3 mins, turn, repeat x3 (total 12 mins).
- Garnish with slices of tomato and parsely.
