cream of tartar helps

For drop scones (Scottish), with 1/2 tsp bicarb & 1/2 tsp cr of tartar.  If you wish to use buttermilk or sour milk then halve the cr of tartar!

CINNAMON ROLLS

2 c SR
1/2 tsp gr nutmeg
1 egg, well-beaten
1/2 c sugar
1 Tab butter, melted
1c milk
well-greased cocoa tins

Mix drys, then butter, egg & milk.
Bake in cocoa tins (or fancy silicone pans?) for 30-45 mins. Turn out onto rack, cool a little, then roll in a soup plate of milk. And then in the cinnamon mixture.

CINNAMON MIXTURE
1/4 c coconut, 1/2c sugar, 2 tsp cassia cinnamon
