LEMON DUMPLINGS

3 cups water
1 sm cup sugar
2 large Tabs golden syrup
juice of 2 lemons
DUMPLINGS:
2 cups SR
3 Tab butter,
pinch salt

SYRUP:
Bring to the boil: water, sugar, gs & lemons.
DUMPLINGS
Rub butter into flour then mix in cold water to make a fairly soft dough.
divide into 6-8, and add to boiling syrup 10-15 mins.
Add a sm piece of butter to sauce.
