MW BBQ SAUCE WITH CHICKEN
4 chicken drumsticks or joints
SAUCE:
60g butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp tomato puree
2 Tab each wine vinegar & brown sugar
1/2 c water
2 tsp dry mustard
2 Tab worcestershire
pinch salt
2 tsp cornflour
- Place chicken in clear roasting bag in a dish, mw 2 mins, turn. x3 (total 8 mins). Rest.
- Place butter in a basin, mw 1 min. Add remaining ingredients except cornflour.
- Stir well, mw 2 mins, Stir, mw 2 more mins. Can thicken with cornflour paste.
- Place chicken on bed of rice. Pour over the sauce and mw a further 2 mins.
