APPLE STRUDEL JAFFLES
Makes 4
1 sheet shortcrust pastry, thawed
melted butter or marg, for pastry
4 Tab cooked or canned apples
sugar, to taste
1 Tab sultanas
1 Tab ground almonds
mixed spice, to taste
Lightly brush pastry with melted butter and cut in half.
Placed one half, buttered side down, in a heated jaffle or sandwich maker.
Combine apples, sugar, sultanas, almonds & mixed spice and spoon onto pastry.
Top with remaining pastry, buttered side up. Close sandwich maker and cook until pastry is golden. Serve hot.
