vegan “fish” sauce

1/4 cup (60ml) lime juice
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp soy or tamari
1/4 tsp red chilli flakes
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp sea salt

Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together.
NBĀ  If you’re making more than one batch, store it in an airtight container in the fridge for several weeks. Makes about 1/3 cup. You could make a double or triple batch to keep in the fridge.
