LEMON SAGO

1/2 cup each of sago & sugar
2 cups water
2 lemons – 1 grated rind, both juiced
1 Tab golden syrup
1/2 Tab treacle or honey

Soak sago in water then boil with sugar, grated rind of lemon & syrup.
Cook gently until clear, then add lemon juice.
Pour into molds and turn out when cold. Serve with whipped cream or custard.
