STEAMED PUDDING

2-3 c honey
1/2 tsp bicarb
2 eggs
1/4 tsp cloves
2 tsp BP
1 c milk
1 c chopped raisins
1/2 tsp each of salt, allspice and of cinnamon
2 Tab ground chocolate
1.25 c flour (more if needed)

Mix all well and steam in a buttered basin for 3 hours.

SAGO PLUM PUDDING

4 Tab sago
1 c mixed fruit
1/2 tsp bicarb, dissolved in a little milk
1 Tab butter
1 c breadcrumbs
1 tsp spice
1/2 c each of sugar and of milk

Soak sago overnight in enough water to cover well.
Mix b&s, stir in sago, then breadcrumbs and fruit.
Then add milk & bicarb. Then enough SR to bind.
Boil in a floured pudding cloth for 3 hours.
