SPICED APPLE ‘CAKE’ (intriguing?)

5 Tab flour
3 Tab cornflour
2 Tab sugar
2 tsp gr cinnamon
1 tsp BP
125g butter, melted
milk
stewed apple

Mix dry ingredients tog and add butter.
Then add enough milk to make a paste that will roll out easily:  cover a baking tin with half.

Cover the paste with stewed apples, then place remaining paste on top.
Bake for half an hour in a mod oven.

FLAPJACKS

4 oz butter
250g rolled oats
2 oz brown sugar
2 Tab golden syrup

Cream butter, add rest of ingredients and work all together.
Press out onto a buttered & floured flat baking tin – more than 1/4″ thick.
Bake for 30 mins in a mod.hot oven.

Cut into portions while still hot, but leave in tin until cold before removing.
