ALL-BRAN DONUTS

1  1/2 cups each of All-bran and SR flour
1/4 cup castor sugar
1 tsp bicarb, 1 tsp salt
1 egg
1 Tab melted butter
1/2 cup water
cinnamon sugar

1. To dry ingredients add egg, butter & water to make a soft dough.
2.Pat out dough to 1/2 inch thick. Cut to rounds.
3. Fry in hot oil 190 degrees for 4 minutes, turning once. Drain.
4.Roll in combined sugar and cinnamon while hot.

PINEAPPLE SOUFFLE

1 cup fresh pineapple
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tab butter
2 eggs, separated
1  1/2 cups fine soft breadcrumbs
1/4 cup water
well-greased oven dish

1. Supermix pineapple, then turn into bowl, cover with sugar & stand overnight.
2. Turn into small saucepan, add water: bring to boil then simmer 15 minutes.
3. Measure – there should be a cupful. Add butter.
4. Supermix crumbs. Add pineapple to crumbs & yolks and supermix til smooth.
5. Beat egg whites in large bowl until stiff. Gently stir in pineapple.
6. Put into oven dish and bake in moderate oven 40-45 minutes.
